I didn't like the end because he just went cross the street and some one moved
I agree Alex, I thought Chocolate Touch ended rather abruptly.
I did not like the ending of the book because when he kissed her mom she turned to chocolate and will end the like John will go to Susan and say sorry and say sorry for not sharing his chocolate.
I think the ending of the book was a little boring .Because I was expecting something major and unexpected .I will probably ended like it was a dream that Jonh had or that or that the storekeeper had never known Jonh
I agree with Dulce because it was boring because he when to say thank to him and when he with the chocolate store was not there and I was expecting something something better then that.
Dulce I agree because all the ending had was him going to say thank you but the store is not there.I thought he would be dreaming or sleeping.
I agree with you Manuel because I thought that he was just dreaming.
Dulce, I completely agree with you. Although I would've liked a more dramatic ending, I've read enough books to accept all different types of endings.... boring and exciting.
I agree with you Dulce because I thought when he goes back to the store I thought he was going to turn the storekeeper into chocolate because John was so mad at him.
I didn't like the ending because I was expecting something like he was dreaming and his mother is screaming at him because his late for school.
I agree with Ryan . Because I was expecting something else .For example not ending the book with the storekeeper and the store aren't there any more because that is boring
I agree Ryan. I thought it was all just a dream and his mom was trying to wake him up.
I agree with you Ryan and if John was dreaming the all time it would be funny.
Yes I agree with ryan because I was expecting him in the bed dreaming about it.
Yes because his mom came back and he is not selfish anymore
Delilah, I think that for those who like happy endings this was the ending for them. The author's emphasis on John's unselfishness ultimately leading to his mother's safe return is the perfect happy ending.
Yes because it was good ending when the person made everyone happy again and when John’s mother turned to chocolate but I felt bad to
I don't agree with you Jazel because I was expecting something more interesting.
I agree with you because the book doesn’t have a part of excitement.
I disagree with Jazel and Delilah like Alejandra said . Because I do thick it was boring and not excited like Jezel and Delilah said but I do thick at the end John did learn a lesson about not being selfishat.
I disagree with you Jazel because all you said was everyone was happy because of the person.
I did not like the ending because when the man turned his mom back to life. He was going to say thank you but the store was not there anymore . I thought the end of the story would end in a better way but that was it.
I didn't like the ending. Because its a bit boring because the mom only turned to chocolate. I was expecting like the whole house turns to chocolate and John too.
I agree with you because only his mother turned to chocolate and nothing else.
I disagree Jazel because only the mom turned to chocolate and I was thinking that the whole house is chocolate and him too.
Dulce what do you mean????
I disagree with you Delilah because the dad didn't know that the mom turned to chocolate and he was happy because he saw John and his mom hug each other.
Jad, thank you for replying to many of your classmates. Please remember to reply to each of your classmate's individual posts.
I did not like the ending of the book because it was a little boring like Dulce said. I was expecting that John was only dreaming or went to the storekeeper and asked him why did the chocolate did that.
Alejandra, you bring up an interesting point. It would've been an interesting conversation to hear how the storekeeper was able to create a chocolate like that. Makes you wonder if he'd be able to create a "Chocolate Touch" for other foods as well.
I did not like the book because it was not interesting. It was not interesting because John just kiss his mom and she turned to chocolate.I would ended the book.By John able to say thank you to the storekeeper and apologizing to Susan and ruining Sunan birthday party.
Evan, I too, would've liked Susan and John to talk about what happened. I'm curious how Susan would've responded to John's explanation about the coin and the apple game.
I didn’t like the end of this book because John wasn’t able to apologize to the storekeeper and he wasn’t very kind to him. Also if I was the author I would have made John say sorry to the storekeeper for treating him about turning his mother into chocolate.
I didn't like the ending of the book because John didn't get to say sorry for what he said to the storekeeper. If I was the author I will write "John went back to the candy store and said sorry to the store keeper for what he said to him. Also,I didn't like how Mrs.Midas turn to chocolate when John kissed her in the cheek.I thought that John will turn back to nomarl and that Mrs.Midas will never turn to chocolate.
I completely agree with you keyra.
I really did not like the ending because John did not apologize to the Susan and the storekeeper
How can a piece of chocolate turn everything he touch is with his tongue turn in to chocolate.
I like the end becaus john learned a lesend about chocolate.
I did not like the ending becuase,John couldn’t say thankyou to the store owner. Also if were the author of this book,I would have at least wrote that John would have said “thankyou” to the mysterious storekeeper.I would’ve also wrote that John had said Sorry to Susan for ruining her dress and party.
