Dear Catskill Avenue Families, On behalf of the Catskill teachers and staff thank you for your continued support. We are grateful to all the families for their participation in the recent parent conferences, appearance at the Halloween Parade, volunteering in the classrooms, and with their support of our fundraising efforts including the book fair and candy sale. On August 30th, the LA Galaxy Foundation hosted their second annual Shoes That Fit event at Catskill Avenue Elementary School. Shoes That Fit is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping kids improve their self-esteem by providing them with a pair of shoes so they can go to school in comfort and focus on their studies. Thanks again to both organizations for making a difference in all those who participated in the festivities.
